A day of discovery.
Trace the line running from father to daughter:
mistrust,
insecurity,
wells up into an ugly blister.
Well, how do you deal with it?
At the height of emotion
his answer is nonsensical,
that can’t apply to me…
but later when my eyes have brushed past the tears I see that it does,
and I’m thankful for the affection of parents that wraps around me
in unconditional love
reflecting
His love.
I raise my blistered arms
only He can heal.
I run to Him.
—
I am glad to have the curtain of my mind torn.
Light floods in, she
scatters dusty thoughts
as greater clarity remains.
another gift…
Thank you for working at Turning Point.
Thank you for answering calls for us other Christians.
Because we’re a family. Even though we may be seperated by many miles, you are not just a Christian over there. But you are family, and we’re called to encourage each other.
So, thank you for doing what you do.
…John went on to place his order, and I was deeply encouraged by the truth and appreciation of his words.
