undone
The plane landed at 7:26 p.m. and I was having trouble holding back the tears. I couldn’t wait to see my siblings, but I was overwhelmed by all the LORD had accomplished and done within the depths of my heart on the trip.
9 men and 4 women had joined together to build a house for Pastor Jonathan and his wife Sarah and their two beautiful children. They live with the poor and have been living with Jonathan’s parents and younger brother in a small 2 bedroom house. In December as Jonathan and his wife had felt led to go into full time ministry, Jonathan asked his father, “What about my family? How will I provide for them? We don’t even have a house…”
His father looked at him and said, “Don’t worry about that. God will provide for you and your family! and just as He provided for your mother and I to have this home, He will provide for you also.”
Six months later our team stood in Cabo, a direct answer to prayer.
There are so many more stories I want to share with you from this trip. God shook my heart to it’s bottom and broke it with HIS love and tenderness. I will never be the same.
away for awhile
Tomorrow morning I am leaving for a 10 day mission trip to Cabo, Mexico. I will return on the 12th with many stories to share.
Your prayers would be appreciated – there is a team of 13 going and we will be building 2 homes, serving with the local church, feeding the poor… and anything else God brings to us while we are there.
PS: I will try to get the most recent posts to display on the home page of this blog when I return!
It’s annoying, but I haven’t had time to fix it yet.
Thanks for your patience!
