My writing class is not just about writing. It’s asking me to discover what I am passionate about and then suggesting that I build my blog, this house for my words, on the foundation of my passion.
I’m passionate about reflecting.
Reflection is the pathway to discovery, opportunity and joy.
I crave stillness, peace and understanding. Reflection is my path. I sift through my experiences, emotions and thoughts to gain new understanding, expertise and purpose.
I’m passionate about growing.
I cannot lead well unless I am continuing to learn, develop and grow.
Two of my greatest fears are falling into apathy and stagnation. I seek growth through reading, research, meeting people and most importantly, applying truth to my life.
I am passionate about giving.
Our gifts are meant to be shared.
It’s about mindset. I want to live thankfully and generously, eagerly giving of myself, my words and my time. I do not want to live with clenched fists, trying to gain and hold onto blessings only for myself.
What are you passionate about?

Very encouraging to hear your heart. I’m glad you posted this, because now I remember how valuable self reflection is to me.
I love the part on giving, how you communicated to eagerly give of myself.
Thank you for the thought provoking reflection questions; I will get back to you on this one; it is one that once I start writing I will be unable to stop
but I will get back to you on this!!!
I’m passionate about … God, my family, writing, and lots of other things but those are at the top. Talk to you soon!
love it! when I read your blog I feel connected to you and your story even though we are miles apart. I’m thankful for technology that allows us to connect across the distance.
To sum it up, I would have to say that my passion lies in encouraging and inspiring others to be the best they can be. When you reach out, you often do not see the difference you are making; but you are and that is the most exciting and fulfilling part of the journey.
very true Mary! We only see a small smidgen of the difference we are making. Love your passion!
